Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, plant, transportation, services and supervision necessary and incidental to construct, repair, replace, alter, build new, or perform following items. All work required in accordance with specifications for project MBPB-96- 7519 and MBPB-96-2954 and as indicated on the drawings KE-96-0044. The work shall include, but not limited to: (1) Building 619 Lift Station Upgrade: a. Provide temporary pumps to bypass the flow. Maintain flow of sanitary sewage to gravity lines during construction of new lift station. b. Demolition of existing sanitary sewage pump facilities in the wet well of Building 619. c. Install reinforcement structure to support the existing wet well concrete slab. d. Install new sanitary lift station pumps and controls and connect to existing force main. e. Install new electrical control facilities. (2) Sanitary Sewer Serving Buildings 621 and 639: a. Construction of 200 mm (8 inch) sanitary sewer line from new manhole SS-3 to the lift station wet well in Building 619. b. Extend the new sewer line to Building 639 connect to the existing line at a clean-out. c. Separate the existing 150 mm sanitary sewer line from Building 621 from the 100 mm laboratory discharge line. Lead the 150 mm line to the new sewer system. d. Replace the concrete sidewalk. e. Maintain flow of sanitary sewage and industrial waste during construction of new line. 2. Test Cell Lift Station Upgrade: (1) Test Cell Lift Station Building 638; a. Provide temporary pumps to bypass the flow. Maintain flow of sanitary sewage to gravity lines during constuction of new lift station. b. Demolition of existing sanitary sewage pump facilities in wet well. c. Construct a new concrete slab for supporting valves and pipes. d. Installation of new sanitary sewage lift pumps and controls. e. Install new electrical control facilities. Performance is 185 days. This notice is for Solicitation F41650-97-B-0404, 1 Job Lump Sum. Tentative date of issue is 10 March 1997 with a tentative opening date of 10 April 1997. Pre-solicitation notices were issued 24 February 1997. The proposed acquisition listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Interested SB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing written notice to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with telephone number, points of conttact and contract numbers) and a positive statement of eligibility as a small business concern, evidence of capability includes experience in the specific construction area advertised as well as bonding capability. If adequate interest is not received from SB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as full and open competition without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SB concerns. All replies to this notice must be in writing. The solicitation, specifications and drawings shall be available. There will be a $35.00 for each package requested, payment shall be made by money order or cashiers check to U.S. Treasury. The approximate issue/response date will be 10 Mar 97. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered.
