Notice of contract action for the purpose of issuing a full and open competitive solicitation to replace the existing domestic hot water, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system and controls with a design and build, turnkey four seasons water source geothermal heat pump system in Bld 1825 Hanscom AFB, MA. The following are minimum qualifications the contractor must possess: The contractor shall have installed five or more standing column wells in the New England region within the past 60 months. The contractor shall be a certified well driller and member in good standing of the National Ground Water Assoc. The contractor must posses a valid International Ground Source Heat Pump (IGSHPA) installer certificetion. The period of performance for this project will be 120 calender days. The magnitude of construction is $100,000 to $250,000. This is a firm-fixed price contract.
