1. Tube, Outer (Quantity = 6,600 each) made in accordance with drawing
#1212757, revision L. Material: aluminum alloy, QQ-A-200/8, shape,
composition 6061, temper T6. Insert plug that is 2.887 plus/minus .001
dia. x 2.00 x plus/minus .50 long, in large open end of tube. With
plug in place the tube shall drop freely thru a 2.98 max diameter tube
by 16.00 plus/minus 1.00 long. If alternate construction of detail A
is used, tube shall drop freely to the flared portion. There shall be
no longitudinal grooves for dimension shown. 2. Cover (Quantity = 6,600
each) made in accordance with drawing #1212922, revision J. Material:
aluminum alloy die casting, QQ-A-591, alloy no. 413.0. Part shall be
free from cracks, voids and blow holes. O-ring groove shall be free
from scratches tranverse the machine lay. After machining, impregnate
in accordance with MIL-STD-276. After impregnation, cover shall
withstand a hydrostatic or aerostatic pressure differential of 5 psi
min. for 30 seconds min. without leaking. 3. Base(Quantity = 6,600
each) made in accordance with drawing #1305695, revision P. Material:
aluminum alloy die casting, QQ-A-591, alloy NO. 413.0. Allowable draft
1 deg + draft means no portion of surface shall fall below indicated
dimensions. draft -- means no portion of surface shall exceed indicated
dimensions. No flash permitted on this surface. After machining
impregnate in accordance with MIL-STD-276. After impregnation, base
shall withstand, without leaking a hydrostatic or aerostatic pressure
differential of 5 psi minimum for 30 seconds minimum. There shall be no
flash permitted throughout area designated by 1.25 plus/minus .01
dimension. No burrs or stepped edges permitted on this surface. A
Firm-Fixed-Price type contract will be issued for this requirement.
Mil-I-45208A, Inspection System Requirements apply. All deliveries are
to be made FOB Destination Crane Army Ammunition Activity, Crane, IN
47522-5099. Inspection is at source, acceptance at destination,
Government First Article Testing. This is a 100% small business
set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid
which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All
