EG&G Florida, Inc., in cupport of NASA at the Kennedy Space Center, is seeking sources to provide a High Temperature Total Carbon Analyzer, Tekmar Dohrmann DC-190 or EQUAL. The following are salient characteristics: 120v, 60 hz with centronics parallel printer or equal; analyzer must be caoable of conducting analyses in compliance with EPA method 415.1 for TOC analysis; analyzer must have the capability to directly and automatically analyze aqueous samples such as sludges, slurries, emulsions and primers; analyzer must have the capability to analyze aqueous samples from 1 microliter to 400 microliters or more without pretreatment; the analyzer must have the capability for direct sample injection onto the catalyst bed from the syringe; analyzer must use a high temperature method of combustion for analysis with the furnance temperature should be variable to 900 degrees c; analyzer detector must be non-dispersive infrared; analyzer must have at least the following analyses modes -- total organic carbon, total carbon, inorganic carbon, non-purgeable organic carbon, purgeable organic carbon; printer must be included with the analyzer for print out of analysis results; analyzer must have the capability to add, at a later date, an auto sampler for the automated analysis of at least 25 samples, vendor must have a 1 year warranty with vendor installation and at least one day of o site operator instruction; analyzer must have a dynamic range of at least 0.2 to 10,000 milligrams carbon/liter of sample; the analyzer must have a precision of a least +or- 0.2% of the measured value or +or- 0.1 ppm TOC, whichever is greater.
