Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), China Lake, CA, is seeking
information on variable flow ducted rockets for missile propulsion
applications. The primary focus of the request is to identify
technologies, such as gas generator throttling capabilities, that
significantly enhnace kinematic performance of missile systems. The
technology will be used for performance analysis for future planning.
The technology must be demonstrated. This is not a Request for
Proposal, but a Request for Information. This RFI will close 30 days
after publication. U.S. and foreign sources will be considered. The
primary focus of the request is only a survey of available technology.
No contract is currently planned. All submittals must be unclassified,
however classified data may be referenced to enable a data request to
be submitted. Contractors should appropriately mark any data that is
proprietary or has restricted data rights. Those interested in
supplying information on variable flow ducted rocket propulsion
