The purpose of the CIP is to reduce the expense of operating the F112 engines by improving reliability and maintainability, eliminating safety related failures and developing repairs. Services to be provided will include studies of service revealed deficiencies, development of repair procedures and instructions, engine testing and development of engineering changes.
