DATA AND SECURITY MANAGEMENT AND DATABASE OPERATIONS FOR THE JOINT MUNITIONS TEST EVALUATION PROGRAM OFFICE Previously synopsized as CHICKEN LITTLE DATA/SECURITY MANAGEMENT PKZ-628. Proposed contract action in the form of a Request for Proposal (RFP) is contemplated to be released within 15 days for Data and Security Management and Database Operations. This requirement will be a small business set-aside under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 8711; the applicable size standard is $20.0 Million. The Data and Security Management and Database Operations requirement consists of: Complete database management and operation of target vehicle parts and configuration in support of on-site (Eglin) and off-site testing at locations throughout the CONUS; complete management of data collected during testing to include cataloging, storage, reproduction, distribution, and archiving; and security management for acquisition efforts and classified materiel operations. Testing will consist of non-destructive and destructive testing using a fleet of foreign and U.S. military vehicles in operational configurations and related fixed target support to aid the evaluation of seeker/sensor systems, munitions warheads, complete weapon systems, and related uses of such targets. Contractors responding to this synopsis must either have or demonstrate the ability to have security clearances up to the TOP SECRET/Special Access Required level at the time of contact award. Facilities and equipment including office furniture, telephones, faxes, storage areas, and security containers will be provided by the Government in support of the performance of this effort. Data reproduction equipment for video tapes, digital audio tapes, and magnetic disks will be provided by the Government; the balance of reproduction equipment must be provided by the successful offeror. Occasional travel and overtime is contemplated in support of this effort. A Sources Sought Synopsis was published 15 Jan 1997. Firms who previously responded need not respond again.
