Solicitation scheduled to issue on or about March 24, 1997. This solicitation is a standing solicitation for federal supply schedule 78, part I, section a; from which the government contemplates award of contracts for various commercialitems listed in the schedule of items covering 25 special items number. Resulting cotracts will be FOB origin, 50 United States, Washington DC, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. This soliciation will remain in effect unless amended and/or replaced by an updated solicitation. There is no closing date for receipt of offers, therefore, offers may be submitted for consideration at any time during the life of this solicitation. This solicitation may be updatedon a annual basis, therefore offerors should request an updated solicitation sixmonths after this notice. Effective immediately, this federal supply schedule period will be continuous and will contain contracts with periods that commence on the date of the award (1ST day of the month following completion of the award) and expire five years (exclusive of any options) from the date of award. All contracts under this multiple award schedule include an option to extend the term of the contract for an additional five year period, unless canceled sooner. Under this solicitation, offers will be accepted for the brands identical to those currently awarded. All contracts will be indefinite delivery, indefinte quantity contracts with a $100 guaranteed minimum for the contract period.
