price/quantity contract for repair/update of B-1B cabin decompressor
sensor and hatch handle. Work shall be accomplished IAW Appendices A
and C. Item 0001 Sensor, Cabin Decompressor, NSN: 1377-01-204-7439ES,
27 each. Item 0002 Hatch handle, NSN: 1377-01-207-7091ES, 58 each. To
include all required reports and data. The contractor shall provide all
labor and other parts/materials and equipment to accomplish this
effort. Delivery: 6 months after receipt of reparable end item. Destn:
Hill AFB UT 84056 Government does not have sufficient, accurate or
legible data to procure this repair from other than the current source.
The approximate issue/response date will be 12 Mar 97. The anticipated
award date will be 01 Apr 97. Written procedure will be used for this
solicitation. To: Oea Aerospace Inc, Fairfield Ca 94533-0659. No
telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly
from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited
may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered.
Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the
manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in
accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the
office where additional information can be obtained concerning
qualification requirements is cited in each individual solicitation. It
is suggested that small business firms or others interested in
subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described
procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Request for copies of
solicitations must reference the entire solicitation number, including
purchasing office identification number. To expedite your request,
limit the number of individual solicitation numbers requested per
letter to not more than 10. Don't request information on this
requirement until after the issue date. An Ombudsman has been appointed
to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the
proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the
Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or
contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues,
disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government
personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict
confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not
participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection
