Cunningham, 304-726-5047 The work involved for the existing three story 118,000 square foot administrative building consists of demolishing building components to the limit of the existing structural system and performing structural modifications and improvements. Existing building components to be demolished include asbestos; non-load bearing stud, concrete masonry unit, and concrete partitions; ceiling and floor finishes; build-up roofing; exterior enclosure; lighting and electrical systems; plumbing and mechanical systems; and incidental related items. Structural modifications and improvements to be performed include installing lateral stability bracing; installing steel framing, metal deck, and concrete fill floor systems at existing high bay areas; replacing offset floor and roof conditions; replacing deteriorated framing; and incidental related items. Term of the effort is 150 calendar days. Estimated range for the total effort is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. Plans and Specifications will be available on or about March 22, 1997. Bonds will be required. West Virginia Contractors License must be submitted prior to commencement of work by Contractor and all Subcontractors. $35 non-refundable fee payable to Alliant Techsystems Inc. must be submitted with written request to obtain plans and specifications.
