Hayes (816) 426-3107 Contracting Officer PLEASE NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION HAS A $75.00 NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE. Project generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Furnish competent surveying resources to properly layout the subject sites and provide horizontal and vertical control. 2. Install reinforced concrete pier foundations for localizer antenna array, for the equipment shelter, for Inner Marker (IM) Beacon and Far Field Monitors (FFM); for Middle Marker (MM) equipment shelter and antenna tower; for antenna tower foundation at the existing Outer Marker (OM) site; and for New Generation Runway Visual Range (RVR) equipment. 3. Install cables from the localizer antenna foundation to the existing localizer equipment shelter; from new glide slope transformer to existing engine-generator van and shelter; from new glide slope shelter to existing PAPI and center-field Termination Unit. 4. Pick up the Government Furnished fiberglass equipment shelter at the Des Moines SSC Office, transport it and offload it at the glide slope site, and install it, including conduit, wiring and enclosure installation. 5. Install crushed rock surfacing and access roads between various sites. 6.Install precast concrete equipment shelter at the (MM) equipment shelter and antenna tower. The shelter will be delivered and attached to the foundation piers by the shelter manufacturer. 7. Restore all sites to previous condition, where disturbed by construction activities. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
