Offerors will be required to submit a two part package consisting of : 1) their technical experience/ technical capabilities, references, and 2)the c ost proposal. The technical will be opened first and evaluated. Only those wit h a chance of award will have their cost proposal opened and the offeror with th e best value for the price will be awarded the contract. The ranking factors wi ll be, in order of importance, 1) prime contractor's firm's years of experience installing and servicing elevators; 2)number of comparable elevators installed w ithin the last three years; 3)three or more good or better references from compa rable projects; and 4)what percentage of the total work will the prime contracto r will perform internally on this project. A thirty dollar ($30) non-refundable charge will be required for each set of specifications.
