Duval (SEA 02544) 703/602-8000 x594 The purpose of this CBD announcement is to modify sources sought issued on 17 December 1996 seeking potential sources for the development of the Advanced Integrated Electronic Warfare System (AIEWS), and to give notification of an Industry Briefing. During the week of 24 February 1997, the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a draft solicitation for industry review and comment. The draft solicitation will be made available via internet address http://sea02www.navsea.navy.mil/. Hard copies may be picked up at NAVSEA upon request. All questions/comments on the draft RFP should be submitted in writing to the attention of Kelly L. Sherman (SEA 0254K) no later than 14 March 1997. Questions/comments on the draft performance specification should be submitted in writing to the attention of Kelly L. Sherman (SEA 0254K) in accordance with DoD 5220.22-M, National Industry Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) no later than 3 March 1997. Notification of an Industry Briefing is hereby announcedin accordance with sources sought issued 17 December 1997. An Industry Briefing will be held on 6 March 1997 at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Building 210, Room 1450 at 0900 a.m.. No more than four (4) employees per potential source may attend.
