Group (TSPG) is continuing the acquisition planning for the purpose of
competitively awarding multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite
Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for Aircrew and Aircraft Maintenance Training
Systems (AAMTS) II for the United States Air Force and Foreign Military
Sales. The objective of this contract strategy is to significantly
shorten lead-time to meet user training requirements by reducing source
selection time. It is our desire to ensure that small businesses will
take part in the program. In order to accomplish the above objectives
the TSPG is surveying industry to determine the capabilities of
industry to meet the future training needs of our customers. A previous
survey announced in August of 1996 was oriented toward ascertaining the
capabilities of small business. This survey will assist the TSPG in
determining the extent of industry's, both small and large firms,
capability to perform in several critical functional areas (i.e.,
software development, etc.). The survey is accessible on the internet
at http://tspg.wpafb.af.mil/related/survey Companies are required to
have the capability of accessing the internet in order to complete the
survey. Surveys will not be provided via mail. The product of this
survey will be used in developing the acquisition strategy that will
lead to the Request for Proposals (RFP). Surveys are due no later than
the close of business fourteen (14) calendar days after publication of
this announcement. Inputs will be held in strict confidentiality, and
must be completed in accordance with the survey instructions. Direct

Negotiator An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The
only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious
concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use
established channels to communicate concerns during the proposal
developmentphase of this acquisition. Potential offerors should use
established channels to request information, pose questions, and voice
concerns before resorting to the use of the Ombudsman. Potential
