In conjunction with Government Information Technology Executive Council and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), FEDCAC/FEDSIM plans to acquire computing and communications recovery services primarily for federal government and other Government and non-Government organizations that process Federal and/or Federally mandated applications. The computing and communications recovery services will be used to test and refine organizations' contingency plans, and to restore and recover operations in the event of a declared disaster. An indefinite-delivery (IDIQ) contract with multiple awards is anticipated. A Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) is planned for release on or about March 3, 1997. Industry comments/questions are solicited. Comments/Questions are due to FEDCAC on March 24, 1997, and shall be in the format specified in the DRFP (Section L "Automated Questions and Answer Record Format"). In order to be included on the source list, qualified firms are required to submit a written request, via E-Mail, to jeanne.davis@gsa.gov or siobhan.frongillo@gsa.gov. Sources responding to this notice shall indicate whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, or women-owned business. For this synopsis, a business is considered small if its average receipts for its preceding three (3) fiscal years do not exceed $14.5 million dollars.
