The Army Research Office (ARO) announces the availability to request a solicitation which specifies the Army's requirement for broad assessments of current state of the art science and technology in fields underlying present and future US Army needs as well as those areas of Army science and technology related to commercial applications. The major objective will be to support the dissemination of information related to scientific and engineering disciplines fostered by the ARO and its relationship to major scientific and technological events being developed by the science and technology communities. In addition, this requirement includes establishing and maintaining an ARO database of modern achievements, selecting and disseminating scientific and technical information, and publishing a brochure of state of the art science. Deliveries include a functioning current database, a bi-monthly publication reflecting current ARO science and technology, science and technology assessments, an annual informational brochure which reflects the current ARO institutional programs, and an annual ARO brochure for each ARO scientific discipline. Within fifteen (15) calendar days after the notice, organizations interested in submitting a proposal for this potential three year contract should request, in writing, a copy of the Request for Proposal (RFP).
