Request for Proposal(RFP): Contractor to provide all systems and software maintenance and enhancement support and related services. The Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) intends to procure, through full and open competition, a contract for National Common Working File Maintenance (CWFM) Support through a multi-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The CWFM will be responsible for a range of functions including systems and software maintenance support to the contractor locations operating The Medicare Common Working File software, BETA Test sites, developmental projects involving enhancements to the current Medicare claims processing, technical assistance to HCFA, and change control management. Interested parties are asked to respond in writing to this notice when requesting a copy of the RFP. Telephone requests for the RFP will not be accepted. Any Contractor receiving an RFP will automatically receive any amendments to the solicitation. All requests for the RFP should specify contrator size and status under SIC code 7371. It is anticipated that solicitation number HCFA-97-0005/PKC will be released approximately April 16, 1997.
