E-MAIL: 96-R-0076 CBD Synopsis, cmccormick@dfsc.dla.mil. Operation, maintenance, and security of DFSP's Pohang, Yechon, Kunsan, and the petroleum fuels laboratory at Pyongtaek, Korea. Facilities at Pohang, Yechon, and Kunsan are GOCO tank farm complexes with the following shell capacities: Pohang 173,381 bbl; Yechon 169,000 bbl; and Kunsan 30,000 bbl. Each storage facility is responsible for receiving, storing, distributing, and accounting for DLA-owned products required in support of U. S. Navy and Marine Corps TACAIR activities (Pohang and Yechon: JP8, F76, and Mogas)and U. S. Air Force activities(Kusan: JP8). The fuels laboratory at Pyongtaek supports all DoD activities within Korea, with an estimated annual workload of approximately 5,000 samples. Performance period is 01 Oct 97 through 01 Oct 2002 for all locations. A pre-solicitation conference is planned for May 5, 1997, with site visits planned on May 5 through May 9, 1997.
