Z -- HOUSTON, TX AREA, VEHICLE LIFT REPLACEMENT FOR THREE LOCATIONS SOL 482980-97-A-0326 DUE 032197 POC Sherman Sims, Project Manager, (214) 819-7236. The project consists of replacing vehicle lifts at three locations in Houston, TX area, including Central VMF, Houston, TX, South Post Oak VMF, Houston, TX, and Beaumont, TX VMF. Light and heavy duty lifts will be replaced with new lifts using specified manufacturers. Testing and cleanup of any contaminated soils is included in this contract, if necessary. Estimated cost range $375,000.00 -- $410,000.00 and construction time is 120 calendar days. Successful offeror must submit their Subcontracting Plan for Small and Minority-Owned, and Woman-Owned Business initially and thereafter with their progress payment requests. The contractor must subcontract with minority business firms in an amount aggregating not less than 10% of the total value of its subcontracts. A 20% proposal bond is required on all proposals. The successful contractor will be required to provide 100% Performance and 50% Payment bonds after notification of award.
