Scope of work: General description of this project involves demolition of existing ceilings, partitions, abandoned HVAC ductwork and light fixtures. Construction of new partitions, flooring, ceilings, ductwork, electrical lighting and plumbing for new Post Office Workroom, Lobby, Bathrooms, Support Area, Administrative Offices and Postal Store. Project also includes installation of USPS supplied lockboxes and vending equipment. Interior floor space is approximately 14,000 s.f. New exterior construction loading dock at the rear of the existing building. Miscellaneous construction associated with the project includes partial demolition of existing walls for placement of new windows and doors to access the leased space. Offeror must have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a General Contractor and must have satisfactorily completed at least five (5) projects of similar size and scope. A preproposal conference will not be held. The estimated price range is between $750,000.00 and $850,000.00 with completion required within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
