Z -- THIS PROJECT IS TO PROVIDE FOR MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING CHANGE OF OCCUPANT PREPARATION AT HANSCOM AFB, MA. SOL F19650-97-B0010 DUE 050197 POC Sharon A. Skelton, Contract Specialist, #617-377-2160 or Dan Grejdus, Contracting Officer/#617-377-2949. This solicitation is being offered for competition limited to 8(a) Concerns. The SIC code is 1522. Eligibility to participate may be restricted to firms in either the developmental or transitional stage; and interested 8(a) firms are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the Section 8(a) program. This solicitation will result in an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) Contract against which delivery orders will be issued. The principle items of work include but are not limited to: all labor, materials, equipment, and travel needed to provide repair of plumbing/electrical fixtures, household cleaning services, interior/exterior painting, minor carpentry, floor refinishing, Government furnished/contractor furnished carpet and sheet vinyl installation, government furnished appliance installation, replacement and landscaping. The contract length will be 3years: the Basic year and 2 Option years. The Government reserves the right to make a single award or multiple awards. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A firm-fixed priced contract is anticpated.
