This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The request for quotation number is N00253-97-Q-0120 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42. It is the Government's intent to award on a non-competitive basis to Nordson Corporation, a small business, under SIC Code 3559. The purchase order will be firm-fixed price. NUWC Keyport intends to procure one (1) each Automated Conformal Coating System to be used in the production of circuit cards with the following salient characteristics: programmable dispensing; menu-driven IBM compatible software; non-atomized dispensing; X, Y, Z tilt, and rotate axis of motion; and viscosity range of 100 -- 500 centipose. The system shall be capable of coating circuit boards up to 18 X 18 inch maximum. The machine shall not exceed 6 X 8 X 7.5 feet or exceed 4000 pounds. The equipment shall be delivered FOB Destination to Supply Officer, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Bldg 893, 610 Dowell Street, Keyport WA 98345 within 45 days of award.
