Kendrick, (540) 982-2463 Ext. 2239 The VA Medical Center, Salem, Virginia, requires the services of an Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm to provide the following services: preparation of design drawings, construction documents, and construction period services for renovation of existing office, waiting and clinic space in Building 12 for the relocation of the Infectious Disease Lab and the addition of a 28-bed hoptel to include private and semi-private toilet rooms for family and outpatient lodging. Existing space in Building 143 shall be renovated for the relocation of the Podiatry, ENT, General Surgical, Urology and Orthopedic clinics and expansion of the Opthalmology Clinic. The A/E firm will be required to prepare abatement design documents for asbestos containing materials and lead paint contained in Building 12.
