Thompson,DSS-W, D-2 The Defense Supply Service-Washington(DSS-W) on behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs) Defense Medical Information Management(DMIM), for the DMIM/Systems Integration, Design, Development, Operations and Maintenance Services (D/SIDDOMS II), has a requirement to provide support for ongoing and future health care programs. This requirement is known as D/SIDDOMS II. D/SIDDOMS II is an expanded requirement to the current D/SIDDOMS contracts. The D/SIDDOMS II program encompasses four (4) Lots, each of which is designed to meet specific needs in the overall system life cycle for the Military Health Services system (MHSS). Each Lost is being implemented as a separate procurement. The four Lots are as follows: Lot I -- Functional Area Support (FAS), Lot II -- Enterprise Technical Analysis & Support (ETAS), Lot III -- Design Development, Deployment, Operations and Maintenance (DDDOM) and Lot IV -- Technology Solutions Support (TSS). D/SIDDOMS II will cover a wide spectrum of specific functional and information technology functions for all Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) and related requirements within the MHSS. In keeping with the MHSS strategic planning vision for the future, D/SIDDOMS II will utilize skilled personnel and processes in performance of IM/IT and related functions. This solicitation, DASW01-97-R-0050 is for LOT III, Design, Development, Deployment, Operations and Maintenance will provide the following types of IM/IT services and support: Software development/maintenance process at Level III of the Capability Maturity Model of the SEI, COE compliance for the systems, Year 2000 compliance for the systems, Systems Analysis, System Design and Development, System Installation, Conversion and Training, Systems Operations and Maintenance Support, Technical Support, Database Design and Development, Customer Support and Program Management.
