Kraker (309) 782-8570 (Site Code DAAA08) The Rock Island Arsenal intends to issue a firm fixed price RFP for service to support computer operations at the Military Entrance Processing Command/Joint Computer Center Facility; Great Lakes, Illinois. The work shall be performed on site using an IBM Model 3090-200J mainframe computer. Work consists of: operation of computer hardware and peripherals; software utilization (exisiting) and the maintenance of the magnetic media library. The contractor may be required to operate equilvalent equipment at an off site facility in the event of a disaster. A secret security clearance will be required of the successful offeror. The initial period of performance will be from 01 October 1997 to 30 September 1998. A fixed price option will be included to provide for services beyond 30 September 1998 (four one year options). The standard industrial classification is 7376. Approximate issue date is on or about 07 April 97.
