Realignment, etc. Vessel's homeport is Greenville, MS. Place of
performance is restricted to the Western Rivers of the United States.
The "Western Rivers" means the navigable portions of Mississippi River
and its tributaries above mile 0 of the Lower Mississippi River.
Navigable tributaries of the Mississippi River include only
thewaterways within the areas of jurisdiction of Coast Guard Aids to
Navigation Facilities as described in Light List Volume V (COMDTINST
M16502.5), and the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway to the mouth of the
Mobile River. This includes protected portions of the Intra Coastal
Waterway connected to the "Wester Rivers," but specifically excludes
unprotected or open waters such as Mobile Bay, Lake Borne, or the Gulf
of Mexico. Vessel availability schedule is 09 Jun 97 -- 07 Aug 97 for
60 days. Vessel is a 75 Foot, 5 1/2 Inches "E" Class River Buoy Tender
and 130 Foot Barge. Breadth (extreme) of vessel is 22 Feet, 5 Inches.
All referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main
Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. A charge of $100.00 is required in the
form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S.
Coast Guard for requested drawings. All businesses, large and small,
are encouraged to submit bids for the subject requirements. Plans and
specifications will be issued on or after 15 MAR 97. All responsible
sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States
