Larsen (510) 437-3058 Provide labor, equipment, materials, spare parts, propane fuel, transportation and management necessary to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the VHF-FM Coastal Voice Distress System. The system provides distress, safety, command and control communication coverage. The contract will include the support of equipment, structures and fuel systems at shore stations and remote sites located within the five major areas of Alaska, Valdez, Kodiak, Ketchikan, Juneau and Sitka. There are three control sites and approximately thirty-three (33) remote and link sites. The system shall be maintained so each site is operational and available for use at least 98% of the total operating time each month.
