R -- ORACLE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND DATABASE ENGINEERING ANALYSIS IN SUPPORT OF THE GLOBAL COMMAND AND CONTROL SYSTEM (GCCS) POC Charlotte Hunter, Contract Specialist (703) 607-6892 or Karen Erickson, Contracting Officer (703) 607-6907 The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to negotiate with ORACLE Corporation, Bethesda, MD, for technical assistance and database engineering analysis in support of the Global Command and Control System (GCCS) database. Provided support will focus on benchmarking and analyzing the GCCS database performance and design issues. Support shall include analysis of applications, database software, database structures, data replication and distribution methods, and methods by which applications access the database. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses from responsible sources will be considered. Interested sources may respond by furnishing clear and convincing data substantiating their ability to furnish the Government's requirement, including technical and pricing data. Responses must be received within 15 days from the date of this publication.
