Procurement will be on an other than full and open competition basis from AMPEX DATA SYSTEMS, El Segundo, CA due to mandatory compatibility requirments. The contractor shall provide one each Airborne Digital Cassette Recorder that consists of the following: one each digital Cassette Recorder (Airborne) DCRSI-R AMPEX Part Number 1301760-01, one each I/0 Mating Connectors AMPEX Part Number 1301765-01, one each DCRSI Standard/Alignment Cartridge AMPEX Part Number 1294025-03, one each data cable adapter assembly Part Number 1301777-01, 4 boxes AMPEX 5003 DCRSI Standard Tape Cartridges (10 ea to box). F.O.B. Destination. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
