The prior notice dated 4 Feb. 97 for EPLRS Receiver Transmitters from Hughes Aircraft Company on a sole source basis is modified to include information for a two year multi year acquisition with spares and two options. The first year requirements are for 1300 Receiver Transmitters (RTs) ADDSI Type, 345 RTs 1553 Type for Air Force/ Air National Guard, 1 Lot of Materials only to build 507 RTs ADDSI Type, 80 each VHSIC Signal Message Processors, 1 Lot Spare Components, and Retrofit Kits for previously supplied RTs (consisting of 1816 IMA/PA Retrofit Kits and 300 IMA Retrofit Kits). The first option is for FY-1998 quantities of up to 1100 RTs ADDSI Type and up to 400 RTs 1553 Type.
