The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division Point Mugu, California intends to issue a solicitation and award a contract on a sole source basis with Hughes Aircraft Company, El Segundo, California. The procurement is for technical services for repair and maintenance, on-site on-call support services, and on-line telephone technical interchange support services for three (3) User Console Interface (UCIF) units of the AN/ALR-67(v)3 CounterMeasure Receiver. Hughes Aircraft Company is the manufacturer of the above mentioned special test set equipment and maintains the proprietary data which is unavailable to other contractors. The repairs are to be accomplished on a time and material basis, which the Government estimates at approximately 1800 hours. The Government contemplates a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Indefinite Delivery type contract with time and material provisions, commencing at time of award with a three year period of performance.
