V -- NON-HAZARDOUS WASTE REMOVAL (DC) SOL BEP-97-10(TN) POC Contact Angela Williams, Contract Specialist, 202/874-9177. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to issue a solicitation to acquire services for the removal of non-hazardous waste from its Main & Annex Buildings located at 14th & C Sts., S. W., Washington, D. C. The contractor will be expected to collect and dump non-hazardous waste Mondays through Saturdays, except Government holidays and the BEP annual shutdown (typically December 24 thru January 1). On occasion there may be a requirement to make additional pick ups of waste from the BEP. The contractor shall provide two (2) 30 cubic yard closed-top roll-off containers and one (1) 40 cubic yard closed-top roll-off container. The contractor will be responsible for removing the filled waste containers, emptying them at a dump site, and returning them to the BEP (estimate of 3 containers per day). The BEP anticipates that the solicitation will be ready on or about March 21, 1997.
