A $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE PER COPY OF ALL SOLICITATIONS REQUESTED.
Project generally consists of, but is not limited to the following:
DEMOLITION: 1) Removal of the existing 175 KW emergency generator and
associated components. 2) Removal of the existing ventilation system.
3) Removal of the existing lighting and receptacle systems. 4) Remval
of the existing 225 KVA step-up transformer. 5) Removal of the existing
interior wall and asbestos floor tile. INSTALLATION: 1) Install a new
175 KW Kohler GFM emergency generator complete with controls. 2)
Install all required cable ladders, cable trays, wireways, conduits,
fittings, wires, panelboards and components not specifically noted as
installed by others. 3) Install new lighting, receptacle, and grounding
systems. 4) Install a new horizontal mount, vertical throw remote
radiator (GFM) with all required piping and wiring. 5) Install a 225
KVA step-up transformer. 6) Provide and install a new ventilation
system, including exhaust fans, ductwork, control dampers and
thermostats. 7) Provide and install electric unit heaters. 8) Provide
and install lubricating oil storage tank, piping and oil level
regulator. 9) Modify existing fresh air intakes and exhaust louvers.
10) Install new floor tile and repaint the interior of the shelter. 11)
Accomplish other incidental duties to accomodate site peculiar
conditions. 12) Implement and maintain a quality control plan to ensure
contract compliance. 13) Conduct all required tests and checks to
verify contract compliance. The estimated price range of this project
is $100,000.00 to $150,000.00. This procurement is open to both large
and small businesses. All responsible sources may submit an offer which

$25.00 (per copy) payable to the Federal Aviation Administration to the

City, MO 64106. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority,
Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of
Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at aany tier.
The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid,
performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to surety against losses.
Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further
