Garcia The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the American Institute for Research, 1791 Arastradero Road, P.O. Box 1113, Palo Alto, CA 94302. This procurement shall be process in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to support the preliminary work necessary to insure that interviewer trainers for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program are adequately trained prior to the beginning of the upcoming NHSC Scholarship Program (March 31, 1997). The contractor shall: review proofs of Interview Guide and Interview Forms; reproduce and make available all materials and documents necessary for each training session; secure facilities for interviewer training; recruit 40 interviewer trainers; recruit 21 interviewers plus back-ups. The American Institute for Research is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required workand services. The period of performance is two months.
