EXTENSION OF H-60, H-3, H-2 AND H-65 HELICOPTER SIMULATOR TEST PILOT SERVICES This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Veda, Incorporated, 300 Exploration Drive, Lexington Park, Maryland 20653 on an other than full and open competitive basis for the extension of helicopter test pilot services to support the acquisition, development, test, evaluation and acceptance of Naval and Coast Guard simulators and aviation training devices, including those for the H-60, H-3, H-2 and H-65 helicopters. The extension will be from 1 June 1997 to 31 August 1997 and will allow for the continuation of services until the follow-on contract is awarded. The follow-on contract will be a competitive acquisition. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See Note 22.
