E-3 Mission Crew Training Program. This requirement consists of contractor provided training related services necessary for mission simulator operations support; production and maintenance of new and existing academic courseware; maintenance of computer based instruction; operation of computer based training center; Initial Qualification Training (IQT) Academic and Aircrew Training Device Instruction; operation of Registrar's Office; mission simulator scheduling; mission simulator training package development, production and maintenance; operation and maintenance of Learning Resource Center; preparation and submittal of contract data requirements Lists (CDRLS). Five (5) contract alternatives which are Computer Based Training (CBT) Development for additional CBT lessons; Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Air Force Reserves mission simulator operations support; The Japanese Dedicated Training Program (DPT) for IQT courseware development and maintenance, IQT academic instruction,simulator operations support; Modification Block 30/35 Difference Training and Block 20/25 Difference Training. This requirement includes a 60 day orientation period for FY97, a basic contract year of performance for FY98 and four (4) pre-priced annual options for FY99-02. Award is required no later than 01 Aug 97. Formal Request for Proposal (RFP) issue date is scheduled for on or about 17 Mar 97. Closing date will be 29 Apr 97. A Pre-proposal conference/Site Visit will be held at Tinker Air Force Base OK on or about 03 Apr 97.
