Medical and Regional Office Center, Tripler Army Medical Center,
Honolulu, Hawaii, Phase I, Ambulatory Care Clinic -- Work includes
three story steel framed building on drilled shaft foundations with a
covered entry canopy and outdoor recreation area. Exterior walls are
primarily steel stud framing with an exterior insulation finish system
and aluminum windows and a curtain wall at the main lobby. Mechanical
and electrical systems include HVAC, emergency generator, medical
gases, intrusion detection and other alarm systems, energy management
system, and liquid fuel storage tanks. Site work includes on-grade
parking, landscaping, underground electrical systems, sewer, storm
drainage, relocation of the existing utility corridor, and upgrading an
existing standby water pump system. -- Cost Range: Between $20,000,000
and $50,000,000 -- Bidding documents will be available March 20, 1997
