(Site Code DACA05) Construction services for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, may be required for repair of flood control works within the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins. The Government anticipates award of several contracts under PL-99 or other authorities with work to be performed during the April through October time frame. Construction may involve repair or restoration of levees, flood control structures, river training structures, channels, channel banks, bank protection, and other related or adjacent structures. In general, the construction is to repair or restore existing flood control works. The work may also include vegetation installation and establishment. Repair efforts could include construction of appropriate access features on or adjacent to levees such as turnouts, turnarounds, ramps and staging areas. Other construction services necessary to support the work may be requested. There are expected to be approximately 30 contracts with values from $500,000 to $20,000,000. Pre-Solicitation Notices will be issued for each solicitation, with a site visit and a 10-15 day bid period. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to accomplish the requested construction. All interested firms having the capabilities to perform this work are invited to respond to this announcement to be placed on our bidders mailing list to receive Pre-Solicitation Notices.
