The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure the following peculiar support equipment in support of the SH-2G: 2 EA Program Loader, P/N 888-8930-6. The proposed acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure these items on a sole source basis from Litton Systems Inc, Applied Technology Division, under the authority of U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, with an approved Justification and Approval. Firms that recognize and produce the required items described are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. (0058)
