The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis an Acroamatics Model 515V Doppler Video Processing Card (4 each). The Model 515V Doppler processor is a VME printed circuit card which plugs into and becomes an integral part of the Acroamatics 2220V telemetry data processor (TDP). The 2220V TDP's are used in the Navy's MK 75 MOD 1 shipboard telemetry receiving system. The Model 515V card provides the Navy with a highly specialized and unique capability to process and display Doppler data from the Navy's STANDARD Missile and NATO SEASPARROW missile programs. Development of a Doppler processing card for the 2220V TDP requires access to Acroamatics proprietary firmware and software information. NSWCDD also requires 100 percent software/hardware compatibility and interchangeability with the first Doppler processing card developed by Acroamatics. This procurement will be processed under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Written quotations shall be issued.
