Purchasing Agent at (301)496-8607 or Patricia Haun, CO The National
Institutes of Health requires delivery, installation, and training of
Macspect 3-S12. The system shall have the following capabilities. 1)
The Macspect shall have a pulse programmer. The pulse programmer shall
consist of minimum resolution and a minimum pulse width of 100ns, 76
control line, 2048 programmable events. Each event allows simultaneous
RF pulses and contain five hardware loop counter with software looping
capabilities. 2) The Macspect shall contain a Signal Averager. The
signal averager shall have 12 bit dual channel 500 khz spectral width
digitizer and 64k 32-bit memory. 3) The Macspect shall contain a
Spectormeter Interface. The interface shall consist of a plug
compatible spectrometer interface with existing AC-300 spectrometer,
fourier filter, SCM adapter, offset oscillators, and slow I/O
interface. 4) The Macspect shall also have an Interface hardware to a
macintosh computer. The interface hardware shall consist of a 96-bit
high speed PCI interface board and asociated cables. Lastly, 5) The
Macspect shall contain Macintosh Software. The Macintosh Software
should consist of fast 32-bit floating pointing processing -- on a
power MAC 7300/10, a 16K complex FFT must take less than 0/1s,
graphical user interface with user generated pulse sequences,
multidimensional processing -- baseline ocnrrection, apodization, FFT,
and phasing. Software shall also have curve fitting, deconvolution,
integration, and peak picking. 1d and 2d plots with user defined plot
set-up, print preview mode. Software shall have site license for
software allowing the NIA to make unlimited copies of the macintosh
software for off-line processing workstations. Software shall have
scripting capabilities to automated tasks, cut and paste spectra, pulse
sequence timing diagrams, peak positions, integral values, etc, info
reports, or slides. All responsible sources may submit a bid which
shall be considered by the agency The request for quotation with be
available or or about March 13, 1997 and written quotations, along with
descriptive material will be due on or about March 20, 1997. No collect
calls with be accepted. See Numbered Note 1 (0058) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0296 19970303\66-0022.SOL)
