Terephthalic Acid (TA) in accordance with Source Control Drawing No. C13-19-824. The Government intends to procure a sole/limited source basis TA manufactured by Hoechst Celenese Corporation or Pertrocel, Tereftalatos Mexicanos (TEMEX), 375,400 pounds of TA. Material shall be packaged either 55 pound bags, 55 gallon drums, or 2200 pound "supersacks" (metric ton bags), FOB: Pine Bluff Arsenal, AR 71602-9500. This requirement includes a 100% option quantity. Appropriate labeling required in accordance with current DOT regulations will be required. Material safety data sheet(s) on the product will be required to accompany shipment. The approximated issuance date is 27 Feb 97.
