PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Elmendorf AFB requires traffic paint in the following colors and part numbers: White Traffic Paint, MFG Norris, P.N. Norline HAIWI, solvent based, in 345 gallon super drums; Yellow Traffic Paint, MFG: Norris, P.N. Norline HAIY2, Solvent based in 345 gallon super drums; Black Traffic Paint, MFG: Norris, P.N Norline HNLB, Solvent Based, in 345 Gallon super drums. For each of the above requirements there is a requirement for 10 each of these superdrums. Also required is Lacquer Thinner in 55 gallon drums. 6 each of these drums is required. The vendor shall be responsible for pick up and delivery of super drums to the Paint Shop. When the drums are empty the Paint Shop shall contact the vendor. Pick up of empty drums shall be no later than three days from the placement of the call to the vendor. The price of the pick up and delivery of the drums will be included in the cost of the materials. The Paint Shop owns the drum for the black traffic paint. The drum will be made available for shipment to Norris for fill upon request, this will also be included in the cost of materials. This material is part number and size specific. It is part number specific for compatibility with materials being used at other DOD installations in Alaska. It is size specific to reduce hazardous waste generation, as the drums are returned to the vendor. (0057)
