USACERL requires services to analyze the performance of a packed trickle-bed air biofilter with pelletized medium for the treatment of volatile organic compounds and aerosol containing explosives. The period of service for this work shall conclude no later than 31 December 1997. The proposed procurement will be on a sole-source basis. The USACERL Contracts Office intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price purchase order with the University of Cincinnati Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Dr. Makram Suidan. Services to be provided will be accomplished through a simplified acquisition procedure.
