D -- SWITCHED TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES FOR ONIZUKA AFB CA POC Tomma Hofegartner, Contract Specialist, 405-734-9297 or Cathy Summers, Contracting Officer, 405-734-9759 The 38 LS/LGCX intends to extend on a sole source basis a lease with AT&T which consists of all equipment, parts, material, tools, and any other items and services necessary to operate and maintain the WECO 304 Conference Switching System (CSS), 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The extension will be for five months. The WECO 304 CSS consists of 50 frames of common equipment, 127 each 4-wire station lines, 76 each 4-wire E&M trunks, 4 each 4-wire E&M DSN precendence trunks, 10 each 2-wire loop start trunks, 6 each recorder/speaker trunks; customer premise equipment (CPE) including 201 special assembly telephone instruments attached to the WECO 304 CSS; ancillary equipment collocated with the WECO 304 CSS; inside wiring between the CPE and the WECO 304 CSS; and the cable portion of these systems to the Main Distribution Frames (MDFs). This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 USC 2304(c) (1). The Government intends to extend the Communications Service Authorization (CSA) for Onizuka AFB CA.
