D -- SWITCHED TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES FOR LITTLE ROCK AFB AR 72099-5069 POC Emily Gregg (405) 724-9759, Contract Specialist, 405-734-9297 or Cathy Summers, Contracting Officer, 405-734-9759 The 38 Logistics Squadron/LGCX intends to extend on a sole source basis a lease with GTE Southwest Incorporated which consists of a GTD-4500 Electronic Switching System that provides 3500 switched dial lines, 349 ring-down lines, and network access to Digital and Analog Direct IN-Dial (DID), Direct Out-dial (DOD), Two-way trunk groups. The extension will be for one year. System includes Peripheral Call Management equipment consisting of Line/Port DSI Carrier interface, Touch-tone Receivers and Senders, Autovon (DSN) interface equipment, Recorder Announcer, Meet Me Conference arrangement, Remote Access, Music on Hold, Paging Access, Secondary Crash System, Energy Monitoring System, Attendant consoles, and an auxiliary power back-up system. Lease will cover operations and maintenance of all equipment and services. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). The Government intends to extend the Communication Service Authorization (CSA) for Little Rock AFB AR. The CSA is written against the Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO) Basic Agreement DCA200-92-H-0068. Note 22. (0058)
