H -- ENGINEERING/LOGISTICAL SUPPORT POC Harry Bryant, Contracting Officer, 912-926-7088 This is NOT a presolicitation notice pursuant to FAR part 5, but is MARKET RESEARCH to identify sources who possess capability and experience related to the AN/APX-103 (IFF) or similar systems as either: a) an Equipment Specialist or; b) an Electronics Engineer. This is not an indication that the Air Force intends to contract for these services. The Air Force will not pay for information received in response to this request for information. A formal solicitation does not exist at this time. This survey is to determine the availability of firms/individuals pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10.002 and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Respondents to this notice will be sent a DRAFT Statement of Work and a Contractor Capability Survey. Contractors must provide a copy of their approved DD Form 2345 certification. Certification may be obtained by contacting Defense Logistics Service Center at 1-800-352-3572. The extent of foreign participation has not yet been determined therefore the release of information to foreign sources will be determined at time of request. The contractor will require access to classified material. Personnel assigned to perform work under any resultant contract will require clearance to the "SECRET" level. The request should contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, CAGE Code, Phone Number, Size of Business pursuant to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 8711 ($20,000,000 annual receipts), and statement of domestic or foreign ownership.. Foreign owned sources should indicate the country of ownership. It is anticipated that this requirement, if generated, will be set aside for small businesses. (0058)
