The contract area is described as Segment 24 of the Project area, and is located in St. Martin Parish, LA. Segment 24 has approximately 67 landowners, and contains approximately 8,765.18 acres of Environmental Protection and Developmental Control Easement; Perpetual Flowage, Environmental Protection and Developmental Control Easement. The successful contractor will provide approximately 67 Interim Binders with Chain of Title, Intermediate Certificates and/or Endorsements, as needed, and ultimately Final Title Insurance. The term of contract shall be 5 years. The estimated combined right of way value is $2,191,000.00. The U.S. Department of Justice requires a minimally qualified contractor to be a Title Company or an attorney/direct agent for a title company authorized to issue title policies in the state of Louisiana.
