This is a notice for solicitation of sources only. The Air Force is interested in locating qualified sources to instruct medical laboratory technicians. Sources shall maintain accreditation with both the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities and the National Accreditation Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Potential sources will be required to provide platform and hands-on instruction, course revisions, student counseling, course and student evaluation, and administrative support, in laboratory management techniques, biohazardous waste, basic chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, blood banking, and transfusion services. Potential sources will also be required to provide their manpower and basic organization, capability to perform tasks and maintain qualified instructors, financial capability, and business size standard. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an IFB or RFP. Its issuance does not obligate the government to award a contract nor restrict the government as to the ultimate acquisition.
