45TH SPACE WING INDUSTRY BRIEFING The 45th Space Wing cordially invites industry to attend a briefing on 17 Mar 97 at 1300 in the Patrick AFB base theater. The purpose of the briefing is to acquaint industry with a proposed acquisition strategy for aligning the Wing's major operations and maintenance contracts. This proposed alignment may also affect current base-level service contracts. Currently under consideration is the consolidation of the Wing contracts into six comprehensive contracts: (1) Operations Support; (2) Launch Support; (3) Range Support; (4) Base Support; (5) Environmental Support; and (6) Communications Support. This acquisition strategy is in a proposed status at this time; future Commerce Business Daily announcements will reflect the outcome of this endeavor. All contractors who currently have current contracts or are interested in future business with the Wing are strongly encouraged to attend this briefing. No more than five individuals per contractor may attend. Contractors must notify the Wing in writing of their intention to attend, including a listing of your attendees.
